We’re a family kitchen on Bridge Street, a few doors from St John’s and Magdalene. “Canteen” is our promise, not our ceiling — generous, unfussy, made for sharing.
But the cooking reaches for the real thing: the numbing heat of Sichuan, the clean precision of Cantonese, and hand-pulled noodles from Henan. Everything is cooked to order over a fierce open flame — more than 130 dishes spanning China’s great regional kitchens.
